More Classes

Our Puppy Pre-school class is suitable for puppies 8-16 weeks old and is a combination of Karen Pryor Academy's Puppy Start Right and absoluteDogs puppy programs.

Our class is designed to be fun and stress free, which is so important for your puppy to build confidence. We start the eight week class with a free introductory class where we explain how to train and what we expect. During the next eight weeks your puppy will learn skills to stay on his bed, come, stay calm, walk calmly on a loose lead and much more.

Just so you know, we do not do 'free for all' puppy play as not all puppies are comfortable with this. But rather, teach the puppies to be calm when other dogs and people are around. This method of training will have your puppy choosing you over distractions.

During this class, your puppy will learn skills to stay on his bed, come, stay calm, walk calmly on a loose lead, leave it and more.

We will cover topics like:

crate/confinement training
prepping puppy for the vet/groomer
counter surfing/stealing objects
digging
independence training
potty training
problem solving
and more

This class runs for 6 weeks.

Each class is 45min long.

The 6 classes follow our lesson plan, including time for review and discussion on struggles you may be having as well as time to show off what you've learned so far! Class is meant to be pressure free and fun! So, let's have FUN!!

Puppy Pre-school Fee is $210 inclusive.
